Group Legs

It was a wonderful morning at BIB. Started of with the usual warm up. Then did four corners in the parking lot. After which we ran 7 on the hills, running backwards up the hill.

The work out was group Q effort giving everyone a chance to call exercises

Holiday Party SZN

9 gloom-warriors joined YHC for some holiday fun around DTC. I threw out an invitation on slack for the gents to wear their favorite ugly xmas sweater, with the best(worst) dressed winning a door prize (which would have been a single 12oz bottle of Cold Mountain). Alas, I was the only jackass to dress up for the occasion. Oh well, not the first time I’ve looked like an idiot, and certainly won’t be the last. [Read More]

You cannot be at Flying Circus and not do some MAGIC!!!

Date: 12/5/19 PAX: BOGO, Clementine, Dirty Bomb, Ezekiel, Geek Squad, Gump, Ma Bell, Pigeon, Sky Blue, Trike, WWW I am at the point now that I can make up a workout on the fly, at least the night before. Ascending = Accelerating

YHC is not gonna lie when I say that I thoroughly enjoyed fartsacking this morning with the knowledge that I had the Q at this evening’s Rush-Hour. 3 PAX showed up at the greatest evening AO in all of Carpex on a Tuesday! No FNGs, so straight into the pledge we go… Warmup: Mosey around the parking lot where we were able to locate the CPD K9 unit! Circle up in the back corner of the lot for: [Read More]

Come over the Hill Caroline

Preamble A couple of weeks ago Yoga Mat, the king of pre-blasts, put out the call that the FWD Q was open. Hey, why not. Well, except for the drive. But it is always good to visit the eastern regions of my former kingdom. YHC had no idea this day would come on the heels (see what I did there?) of my beloved Wolfpack’s brutal loss to the corrupt Chapel Hillians. [Read More]

We’ll Leave the (Car) Light On For You

When I saw Slappy’s note go out requesting someone pick up Lion’s Den for him I was ecstatic. He had said he was feeling sick but would still Q if no one took it. That sounded like a recipe for some sloppy Slappy merlot and I wanted a second row seat for it. Then Slappy DM-ed me a personal photo of mine I had uploaded to GroupMe back when I thought it was a just private storage site (Thanks a lot, Sub! [Read More]
