A surprise in every corner

YHC, Michelob and Largemouth for a 4 mile “Hope we don’t get lost and it turns into a 9 mile” EC run. It’s been awhile since I stepped out of the corn stalk onto the Field Of Dreams, so it was nice to be back and see all the smiling faces…and Banjo. No FNGs so off we went. Quick run around the lower parking lots and circled up. **Warm Up [Read More]

Limited Run, Not Limited Fun

Claymore is one of the tougher AOs I’ve had the pleasure of Q’ing. I’m slowly but surely trying to make my way around to all the AOs. I naturally gravitate towards running, and find it a nice reprieve between the reps of misery (merkins, burpIEs, etc.), but as Claymore is “limited run”, I had to fill the time with reps on reps on reps. That’s a lot of counting for this ol’ boy. [Read More]

Hotspot & Sooey were none-the-wiser

It has been a loooong time since I have Q’ed A-Team, so I thought I’d dig through the Backblasts to see what we did. As I was reading I thought this was a pretty good workout. Good enough to be repeated. And unless someone had a really good memory, maybe I can get away with it seeming “original.” The only two people who were there the first time were Hotspot and Sooey, and luckily they didn’t even notice. See the City, See the Zoo

10 of us gathered in the cool, crisp gloom of Danger Zone this morning. With YHC’s broken wing still ailing (mostly from where Shank twisted it behind my back at Monday’s golf tournament while yelling in my ear ‘Ya like that McCants! Yeah, baby, take that!, mocking our team’s inability to keep up with his glorious foursome’s handicapped-reduced score), and with Flip Flop’s personal pre-blast of ’not too much arm work now’ still rattling around ole YHC’s head, Schlitz requested the workout give him a tour of the park at which he will be Q’ing next week.
