Organic Pure Gold

Leave Super Bowl party ( @f3pierogi was still there ), sleep a couple hours, pick up Pierogi from the party, and head to A-Team. The amount of food at this Super Bowl party was ridiculous; more than Thanksgiving. You are familiar with these types of parties: the host has an absurd amount of food and all the invitees bring a dish too. And this scene may be familiar too: food was all over the host’s/hostesses kitchen island and their kitchen table (none of which is acceptable for the Slack #nutrition channel), …and there…all by its lonesome……. Hills for the Kulak Krew!

Wow – beautiful morning at the ole Danger Zone – crisp & cool with beautiful stars and a sliver of a moon. My man Flacco had the Q, but asked me to step in as he is under the weather – “my pleasure” as they say at Chick-fil-a – hope you feel better quickly! The PAX gathered with the site Q expertly giving parking commands – Klown Kar of Kulaks was a most welcome sight! Hot and Fresh

YHC went to bed last night with a great workout planned, the perfect preparation for the upcoming Krispy Kreme Challenge. Unfortunately weather and circumstances conspired against me, so a new plan was formulated shortly before we began. Warm-Up Start off with the Pledge at the Flag, then mosey over to the bank for side straddle hops, imperial walkers, good mornings, mountain climbers and calf stretches. The Thang Stay at the bank for 22’s. [Read More]

Pure Vanilla

I didn’t start out wanting to create a vanilla-flavored workout, but now that I look back over what we did, it reeks of the genus vanilla orchid. A bunch of EC HIM did running, pull-ups and other stuff. 0544 Give the Disclaimer to FNG. 0545 Here we go Mosey to the end of the parking lot where Dante Peakers like to warm up and get a little hissy if you don’t. Running off with The Circus

People go to the circus for myriad reasons: entertainment, witness the odd and curious, be stunned by magic, or savor a jalapeno-stuffed deep-fried twinkie burger. However, when it comes to The Flying Circus, only the stoutest of men dare show up to test their mettle within the Big Top. 14 PAX couldn’t resist The Circus’s allure, ignored the temps (they were so small that ignoring was easy), and performed incredible feats with the human body (I am mostly certain each PAX used his own). Two loops around the parking lot then a circle up [Read More]

Run and DMC

I don’t mind cold weather so long as I don’t have to scrap frost off my windshield. What does that have to do with the workout? Nothing, except that it was cold. It was cold until we got going. But how far were we going? All the way to CC Jones park. This is great little park for both workouts and for the family. Definitely recommend taking the family there if you are in the area.
