Several Title Options

On the drive home I started to think about what I wanted to title this BB, but I had too many possibilities running through my head. I didn’t think it would be fair to just pick one, so feel free to chose your favorite. Oh you’re saying Lou’s. I thought you were saying Lose. (see below) Blisters Installed Here If we were on American Ninja Warrior our shirts would say F3 Ninja That was the “Worst Thing Ever! [Read More]

The MayMay

It’s a thing. A real thing.

We came, we exercised, we relocated rocks, we wrote our backblast

It was good to Q at ol’ FOD this morning - had been a while. A strong crowd of 28 gathered - including Kilmer in a Cabriolet (back in my day - only sorority girls drove those)….. hmmm. Oh well - follow me - YHC said softly and started running up the parking lot through the dark path and up the road to the mailbox. Once there, we circled up for GM x18, IW x 14, HB x 12, SF Arm Circles - 10 each way, 10 seal claps and 10 overhead claps. [Read More]

Back to school

YHC picked up the Q for July the 5th as a replacement for missing my birthday Q a few weeks back due to IR. I did not account for the post 4th of July hangover being fully present. Never mind, great way to start the morning. Expecting a light crowd, pleasantly surprised to see 12 other HIMs show up (14 total counting YHC and of course my side kick). At 5:45 sharp, we did a warm up jog around the short loop back to the skate park for warm up. [Read More]

Great Day for some volunteer work at TCP Sawgrass

YHC was a little worried about Sunday’s community event because the sky was falling all day Saturday. This guy does not do yard work in the rain. However, Our good Lord shines down and the rain broke. The Weather Channel forecasted 0% chance of rain with partly sunny forecast and mild temperature. Sunday was going to be a great day for volunteers to mow some grass for The Carying Place. 5 solid HIMs made their appearance. [Read More]

Triple Nickle Hillz

A gorgeous morning in Cary!!! 60 degrees and 91% humidity after weeks of 80 degrees and 97%+ humidity! With tour-de-Carpex month, the aim was to keep it challenging, but to also not scare off any infrequent Kryptonite visitors in the hopes they come back to this AO! There’s lots of running, sure, but it isn’t JUST about running! YHC was very pleased to see a solid stream of cars rolling into the AO as we got closer to M-Minute. Welcome Back

YHC had planned out a nice little kettle bell workout for the Hell’s Bell PAX, but that plan was contingent on having enough kettle bells to go around. Looking around at 0529 it was clear we had just the right number of PAX, but less than the right number of kettle bells, so the original plan was scrapped and a new plan was hatched on the fly. Let’s get after it! [Read More]
