Stolen Typewriter

Roll into the Sovereign Grace Church parking lot and there’s already a lot of activity. Some of the PAX are finishing up their EC pull-ups, and we’ve got a clown car from South Wake. YHC has just enough time to place cones in the parking lot, and it’s time to go. Warm-Up Mosey down to the bottom of the parking lot and circle up for side straddle hops, hillbillies, plank jacks and Sir Fazios. [Read More]

Return to the Bridge

AO: Flirtin w/Disaster June 26, 2018 Weather forecasts can be an inconvenient distraction. After days of threats (90% chance of rain, thunder!) Build-a-Bear calls a pop-up EC three miler, departing 0430. Not a rain drop in sight. Such was the beginning of a muggy morning at YHC’s first pre-arranged Q at Flirtin’ w/Disaster. Some of the PAX may have suffered a flash back to YHC’s disorderly pop-up Q at this very AO about a month earlier, where we spent quality time on and across the US1/64 pedestrian bridge. [Read More]

Kettle Bell Audible

Air was thick this morning but it was a great morning to put in some kettle bell work. We met at the new location on the other side of the park closer to the pull-up bars. As everyone was showing up, I started counting and we ended up with a total of 18 HIMs ready for a workout. I started to panic because the original workout I devised was for about our average 6-10 HIMs. [Read More]

I'll be here all week (literally)

It’s Sunday morning, and for the first time all week I woke up sans alarm clock. Wonderful, yet a little weird. Let’s back-track. My family (Liz is the M and Ellie and Ceci are the 2.0s) is on an extended northern swing and with work responsibilities I needed to stay put in Cary. With that, the idea was born to not only post at all opportunities this week but instead in typical F3 fashion see if I couldn’t lock in and Q every step of the way. [Read More]

Rack 'em

Here’s the set up: 2 weeks ago, YHC and the Nan’tan himself are standing in line waiting our pimento cheese at the festival and we’re chatting F3, as we’re often to do. We’re talking about the impending 10 (or 9) pack and how I’ll round it out with a co-Q at Phx. To the Nan’tan’s credit, he’s always thinking and says, “I have access to The Crick’s Q sheet, let’s see if it’s open. [Read More]

Slippery When Delirious

Hey guys. What day is it? What time is it? I’ve lost all sense of reality at this point. I awoke, I think I put on underwear, and grab what smelled like a cleanish shirt. I miss my family. I miss the fartsack. But alas, I press on. Q 8(ish) of 10(ish) awaits me at SWW and I can’t let the fellas think I’m getting beat down. Let’s get it! [Read More]
