Welcome Hell’s Bells as the newest AO to Carpex!
2017 in Review
Pre-BB
We absolutely blew up GroupMe on its last official day in action when YHC asked the PAX to share what, in each HIM’s opinion, was the biggest event of 2017. Hilarity ensued. PAX eschewed work and risked loss of employment to contribute. It was all worth it, guys…IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!
BB
‘Twas the last workout of the year and all through Bond Park, 20 warriors went a-running through the cold and the dark.

QIC: Kyrie
SWW 29 Dec 2017
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” T Claps to you 12 HIM’s that posted this morning. This morning was tough, freakin’ cold, and certainly not comfortable. You bettered yourself today, and the sun hadn’t even come up yet. How many of your peers can say that? Highly motivated.
YHC has been bitten by the Q bug since VQing FWD a few days prior.

December 29, 2017. The greatest day in the history of @F3Carpex.
Happy Slackday everyone! It’s finally here! We’ve been waiting a long time for this, some more than others. Here’s what we did.
The day started like any other day. Random PAX posted selfies, wrote about the various morning beatdowns, and just generally talked trash to each other. A typical day. Then, shortly after 8AM, Chief Comz Officer Shut-In McShuttysworth sent a shockwave through the Carpex community. He announced that the arrival of #Slack2018 would be within coming within the hour.

Down Range at Dante’s
@mabellcarpex has encouraged all of us to get out of our comfort AO. So being the compliant guy that I am….after much consternation I took Beaker’s Q and hit the trail to the far reaches of Western Wake County….which is Dante’s Peak.
Temperature in the high teens. No wind. Clear
Q was hungover or perhaps even a little drunk from last evening.
6 dudes. One shovel flag.
Warm Up
Mosey down to the cul-de-sac SSH, Burt Jacks, Mountain climbers, GM’s, Fazio Arm Circles, Cotton Pickers.

FC....Flying-Circus, or, Freezin' Cold?
This morning it was cold.
No two ways about it – most definitely “brass-monkey weather” [Northern English colloquialism….Google it!].
We don’t worry too much about such minor discomforts at Flying Circus, so 11 of the strongest, bravest Unicorns ever found (in Northwest Cary on a Thursday morning) showed up raring to go at the premier AO (in Northwest Cary on a Thursday morning).
This is roughly what we did…..starting at the Soccer pitches
